Jared Padalecki Biography
Jared Tristan Padalecki (born July 19, 1982) is an American actor. He is perhaps best known for his roles in the WB series Supernatural and Gilmore Girls.

Jared Padalecki was born in San Antonio, Texas to Gerald Padalecki and Sharon
Kammer; he has an older brother, Jeff, and a younger sister, Megan. He started
to take acting lessons at the age of twelve. Then he won the Claim to Fame
Contest in 1999 and got to appear on the Teen Choice awards. He attended James
Madison High School and was a candidate 2000 Presidential Scholars Program.
After graduating in the 2000 he moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue an
acting career.
Jared Padalecki's acting career was launched when he won Fox TV's Claim to Fame
Contest in 1999 and appeared on Fox's first Teen Choice Awards. He guest starred
in an episode of ER. He then went on to play Dean Forrester on the
critically-acclaimed WB dramedy Gilmore Girls, and he has had small roles in
movies including A Ring Of Endless Light, New York Minute, Cheaper by the Dozen,
Flight of the Phoenix, House of Wax and as Tom in the movie Cry Wolf.
